President
Bob Lavoie
I got my first 2 hives in May 1978 by catching 2 swarms a friend had and got bit by the bug. I’ve had bees ever since although declaring I was done with honey bees only to start again with packages that spring. As a resident of king William I maintained between 70 and 80 production hives and produced 75 to 100 nucs per year.
Today in my 70’s I am just a hobby keeper, managing 8 or so production hives and a few nucs as replacements for winter losses
After 47 years I’m still hooked
